A little care will help keep your Stencil & Starling labels looking beautiful.

Before Applying

For the best finish, apply your label to a clean, smooth and completely dry surface.

Before application, remove any dust, grease or residue from the surface and allow it to dry fully.

Take your time when positioning your label. Once you’re happy with the placement, smooth it down gently from the centre outwards to help prevent bubbles.

Looking After Your Labels

Our labels are designed primarily for use on smooth household storage surfaces such as jars, containers and organisers.

For best results:

• Avoid prolonged soaking or submerging in water.

• Gently wipe clean rather than scrubbing.

• Avoid abrasive cleaning products and harsh chemicals.

• Do not place labelled items in the dishwasher unless the individual product description specifically states that the label is dishwasher safe.

• Allow newly applied labels time to adhere fully before cleaning the container.

Please remember that adhesion and durability can vary depending on the surface, environment and way the item is used.

Removing Your Labels

Carefully peel the label away from the surface. If any adhesive residue remains, use an appropriate gentle adhesive remover suitable for the surface underneath.

Always test cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first.
