Our labels are created using high-quality matte vinyl, chosen for its smooth finish and beautifully understated appearance. Each design is carefully printed and cut to create a professional finish made for stylish, organised homes.

Clean and thoroughly dry the surface before application. Carefully position your label, then smooth it down from the centre outwards to help prevent bubbles. Allow the adhesive time to bond before getting the surface wet.

Yes. Our vinyl labels can be carefully peeled away when you fancy a change. Any remaining adhesive can usually be removed with a suitable household adhesive remover.

Our labels are water-resistant and suitable for everyday use on pantry containers, storage jars and other household items. We recommend gently wiping them clean rather than soaking or placing them in the dishwasher.

For the best finish, apply your labels to a clean, smooth and dry surface. They work beautifully on glass, plastic, acrylic and other non-porous containers.

Yes. Stencil & Starling is a small independent label business, and our labels are designed, printed and carefully finished in small batches from our family home.

We take great care to represent our colours as accurately as possible. However, slight variations can occur between screens and printed materials, so the finished colour may differ very slightly from what you see online

As our labels are made with care, please allow the processing time shown at checkout before your order is dispatched. Personalised or larger orders may take a little longer.

Please double-check all wording and spelling before placing your order. Personalised labels will be produced using the wording submitted with your order, so unfortunately we cannot be responsible for customer spelling or typing errors.

As many of our labels are made or personalised to order, some items may not be eligible for return. Please see our Returns Policy for full details. If there is ever a problem with your order, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

To keep your labels looking their best, gently wipe them with a soft, damp cloth when needed. Avoid abrasive cleaning products, prolonged soaking and dishwasher use.
